Fostering Friendly Employer
Neon Numbers has become a Fostering Friendly Employer! We've joined the Fair Ways Fostering Friendly Employer Initiative to demonstrate our support for any employees considering fostering.
Being part of this initiative means that as an employer, we're willing to provide flexibility and support to any employees who choose to foster alongside their role with us. We hope this move assures current and future employees that we will assist them in any way we can should they choose to foster a child.
Local fostering charity Fair Ways are championing this initiative in a bid to raise Portsmouth's profile as a region that's committed to supporting children in care. The UK currently needs over 6,500 foster carers; Fair Ways hopes this initiative will make fostering possible for more people, as nearly 40% of foster carers combine fostering with other work.
